Before I started my healthier lifestyle. I went to my doctor to get some advice on a dieting product that I was going to try, as you should always get a medical professionals advice when changing your diet, especially when it come to dieting products.
My doc started me off with the right mind set, I won’t bore you with the details, but he basically said that I don’t really need any of the dieting products, its all in the about long term approach, which includes long-term realistic goals and thus a positive mind set that keep you on track.
My healthier lifestyle change idea's started with my doctor, then TV program with the "it can take 20min before feeling full" and a friends advice.
I kind of mashed them all together to suit my individual needs.
Keep in mind that this is for my individual needs, and that you will need to decide what suits you.
A friend of mine goes to the gym and I joined him, but I quickly gave it up due to personal choice, lack of time you know the usual excuses , BUT I replaced it with what I call commonsense exercise for example I take the stairs to work, and then again when I come back from lunch. I might take the long way when I do my shopping at the mall etc...

Diet and exercise for me, use to be strict eating habits and strenuous exercise and thus I found if hard to maintain for the long-term + its not some think I would want to do for ever!
When I swapped dieting for a Healthier eating habit AND swapped exercise for very light exercise that I don’t need to set aside time for. It became easy to maintain a longterm healthier lifestyle, that I’m still doing today.
